Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We went here whilst we were staying in Siena an we enjoyed it a lot ! The fegatini with brioche bread was so delicious and the roasted tongue was really soft and buttery. I absolutely recommend trying the chocolate lava cake which is so decadent ! The crema catalana is also really good and the food is also quite traditional. Service is really good and the atmosphere is cozy and enjoyable! Slightly on the pricier side but I recommend to stop there whilst your in Siena.Remember to reserve !"
"We loved this place! The chicken pate was so creamy. I had seared veal tongue and it was melted in your mouth tender. The Catalan cream with black berries was perfect ending. Would go back to try other dishes!"
"We loved everything about our meal here. The small dish of bread soaked in sauce that was served when we sat down was delicious and such a great way to start the meal. There were so many appealing items on the menu, but on that day my husband and I were in the mood for just spaghetti with red sauce, which we hadn’t had yet in Italy. It did not disappoint. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the wine. It’s always a testament to an establishment when you see the locals frequenting it, which they did here."
"We had a great evening at the restaurant. Service was excellent, welcoming and patient. We had salad and egg-yolk dish for starters. The egg-yolk dish is something you don’t want to miss. The salad was huge but the lettuce was bitter. The main courses were fine (pasta and sirloin). For deserts we had the crema catalana (a version of brûlée) and ricotta di pecora, both were delicious and surprising in taste. We accompanied the dinner with Chianti Classico reserva which was great."
"An amazing experience! The staff is very kind, the atmosphere is great, and the food is delicious! This is the best restaurant I've been to in Italy. The waiter Luca is one of the best I've met!"
"I visit Italy 1-2 times per year and this is hands down the BEST restaurant I have been to thus far. The food is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! The pride that the staff takes in the experience is nothing like I have ever seen in my life. Thank you for an experience that I will remember forever"
"An exceptional dining experience from start to finish! The complimentary bread service came with a signature house-made spread that immediately set the tone - its unique flavor profile had us asking for seconds. The star of the meal was undoubtedly the chickpea soup, a masterclass in layered flavors that revealed new dimensions with every spoonful. Dessert elevated the experience further, featuring a tiramisu that balanced coffee-kissed mascarpone perfection with airy lightness."
"Lovely, cozy restaurant with delicious seasonal dishes and a very curated selection of wines for all budgets. The prices are higher than your usual Osteria, but so is the quality and the impeccable service. Congratulations, you have found a jewel!"
